Questions of Faith (Part 2)
If there is no God, and matter is all there is, then how can we account for order and design in the universe? How are we to account for morality if we are nothing more than matter in motion? We recently asked a number of college students several questions like these. On this program the hosts will listen to and interact with their answers. Sunday Morning (04/14/13): As we wrap up our time in John 6 (Jesus' "bread of life" discourse) we now come to the conclusion of the chapter (vv. 60-71) when many of Jesus' disciples turned away from him because of his hard sayings.
Sunday Afternoon: This Lord's Day I am continuing with our new series on the Canons of Dort. I will be giving an introduction to the Canons and the five "heads of doctrine." Our afternoon service begins @ 1:15 p.m.
Wednesday Night Bible Study 7:00 p.m. (04/10/13): We are continuing our series "Studies in the Book of Revelation." This week, we continue to discuss the first chapter of Revelation, and look at Jesus as the Lord of his church.
The Academy 7:30 p.m. (4/12/13): We are discussing Michael Horton's theology text The Christian Faith. We are currently in chapter 5, and will be discussing the sufficiency of Scripture.

Questions of Faith (Part One)
Most people in our day tend to think of religious faith as a blind leap, something that’s opposed to reason and rationality. Though that may be true for many religions, is this true of the Christian faith? Joining the panel to discuss this issue is Greg Koukl, author of Tactics and Faith is Not Wishing.

And so it begins! Any thoughts or predictions for the coming season?
Hard to predict a clear-cut favorite in the AL East. The Yankees have so many injuries, their success will depend upon getting their regulars back and healthy. Toronto looks much better. The Red Sox are hard to peg, as is Baltimore. The Rays are always solid, but don't have that stacked list of major-league ready prospects at AAA.
The Nats and Braves both look tough in the NL East. The Angels have the bats, but maybe not the pitching. The Dodgers? Anybody's guess. The Giants will be tough again too.
All and all it should be an interesting and competitive year. And I, for one, will be sad to see Mo go, but will enjoy his final season.
And I won't be sad if MLB smacks A-Rod (and the rest of the PED users) with a huge suspension.

Sunday Morning (04/07/13): We are continuing to work our way through Jesus' "bread of life" discourse, and this coming Lord's Day we will be focusing upon the meaning of Jesus' declaration, "whoever feeds on this bread will live forever" found in John 6:49-58.
Sunday Afternoon: This Lord's Day I am beginning a new series on the Canons of Dort. I will be giving an introduction to the Arminian controversy. Our afternoon service begins @ 1:15 p.m.
