Who Said That?

question%20mark.jpgWho Said That?

“I believe there is a universal God. I believe the God that the Muslim prays to is the same God that I pray to. After all, we all came from Abraham. I believe in that universality.”

My vote is for Bush.

But it is probably on the mind of many evanglicals(whatever that word means today)in the pews, I mean at a coffee table or sofa, on whatever day it is they feel like showing up to do whatever it is they do.

George Bush or Billy Graham.

George Bush? Oprah Winfrey? Brian McLaren? Hillary Clinton?

Too many good choices for this one (unless you happen to have heard the quote, which it appears some have).

With the recent 60 Minutes interview (which I didn't watch), I might have guessed Joel Osteen, except I don't think he would use the word "unversality."

Though I voted for him twice, I would have to say George W. Bush.

I'd say Joel Osteen...

Though he'd probably say something like: "There's a universal God ... and then again maybe there's not."

Billy Graham

Timinator guessing Cal Thomas?
Are you kidding me?
Cal Thomas has been in the news taking heat because he will not kiss up to Political Correctness... in fact it was the Islamic Intolerance, Hatred and Vile Theology that Thomas was going after which resulted in some in the media coming after Thomas.

I actually do recall Billy Graham stating something horrendous like this a few years ago. Something revealing Graham no longer believed in the exclusive Claims of Christ but was caving into the inclusivism of our day in 'the church'.

Joel? he'd say something like:
If you are going to live your best life now, you need to put away your pettiness , your hostility. God made us all special and unique [Joel would insert a big smile right about here]. And whether you are Christian or Muslim, it doesn't really matter. What God really cares about is you doing your best, you reaching your full potential, you having a good attitude, and most of all being like me!"

Ok, ok I confess. I did add that last part; but Joel does sicken me always parading himself as the hero his followers are to follow and model.
Joel is not dumb. Joel knows it works...
