Who Said That?

"I am convinced: people with pure hearts live better lives!  Actually, one of the things I look for in a staff member is innocence.  I love it when a person is not full of malice or unforgiveness or is not wrestling with secret sin.  You can just tell by their countenance-they are wonderful people to be around."

I don't know, but if the staff person he's looking for has the qualities listed: "pure heart", "innocence", "not full of malice or unforgiveness", and "not wrestling with secret sin" he needs to hire Jesus. Oh, wait maybe he ought to preach Jesus after preaching the law to himself and his staff then begin preaching law gospel to his congregation.

As far as living a better life, that might include scorn, shame, and death by crucifixion. Not sure that would be the same thing Joel Osteen has in mind by his definition of a "Best Life..."

Joel Osteen.

This bozo must be talking about Adam -- before the fall.

Isn't the whole point of secret sin that it is, you know, secret?

By the way; I'll go for Ted Haggard. Just for the irony of it.
