These words were uttered by the famed televangelist and anti-Calvinist, Jimmy Swaggart.  How ironic that the same man who denies effectual calling and sovereign election, nevertheless had so much confidence in his own preaching.  When the Assemblies of God suspended Swaggart from ministry while in the midst of a series of sex scandals (Swaggart got caught cavorting with prostitutes), Swaggart boasted that unless he return to his pulpit before his suspension was over, millions would perish.  The Assemblies of God stood their ground and defrocked him.  Meanwhile, Swaggart (and his wife) keep showing us all how happy they are.

I'll have to be honest I don't know.
Some of the guesses have been interesting.
I do think a few were so brazen and deluded that they could have said it:
Swaggert, Jack Hyles, Oral Roberts.

I assume we were trying to be funny but I don't have any belief whatsoever that Chuck Swindoll or Billy Graham ever uttered such. Or Kim either for that matter :)

You know, Richard Roberts is awfully scary as well.

I was watching him one night, and he honestly, stopped preaching, put his hand to his ear, tilted his head, acting as if he was listening closely, and then he said, "What was that God?" He then turned to his audience and told them "God just told me to tell you..."

The guy is sickening and such a deceiver.
