Who Said That?

My guess is Norm Geisler, who attempts to hijack the term Calvinism and re-define the termonology to fit his semi-pelagianism. IOW, Geisler is semi-pelagian and calls himself a "moderate Calvinist". He also said irresistable grace makes God a "divine rapist". Hard for me to respect anybody who knowingly and malicously misrepresents his opposition the way Geisler does. I don't care how many PHDs he has.

Sorry for the rant

Sounds just like Geisler from his 'Chosen but Free' catastrophe of muddle-mindedness.

I agree, sounds like Norm Geisler to me, if not him definately someone who considers themselves a "moderate calvinist". The language of "strong calivinist" gives it away. I'm not sure what they gain by trying to hijack the term calvinist. They are really 4 point Arminians who don't want to be consistant when it comes to whether or not you can lose your salvation. I read Chosen But Free and if a person was to read that who didn't already have a good grasp on what Calvinism was, it would lead to enormous confusion on the topic.

Chuck Misler? I once heard a lecture from him titled the 'Sovereignty of Man' where he explained in his condescending style, how man has sovereignty over his final judgment, not God.

I've heard Norman Geisler say this before, but it is a common saying with Arminians.
