A New Dispensational Spin on Ezekiel 38-39

Joel Richardson's book on the Islamic Antichrist offers a new spin on the dispensational teaching regarding a Russian-Arab confederation invading Israel.  Richardson sees this as a reference to the Islamic Madhi.  Since cold war images don't fit (Russian expansionism), lets try Islam.  http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=108899

Now this comes as a big surprise . . .  Most megachurches are "evangelical" and "contemporary."  Wow, I had no idea . . .  And someone received a paycheck for that brilliant observation????  http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2009-09-16-church-growth_N.htm

Now the environmentalists are after two-ply toilet paper.  Give me two-ply or give me death!  If this comes to pass, I'll have to subscribe to the Los Angeles Times again.  That will work.  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/23/AR2009092304711_pf.html

Riddlebloggers:

Go on Issues, Etc., type in "On demand", go down to July 27th, 28th, and 29th for a three part series, on "Singing faith into people's hearts."

Such things that they discuss are; how psalms minister to us as we sing, music is the handmaiden to the Gospel, teaching the liturgy to your kids and good hymns are like good sermons!

This three part series is a good education for all Christians.

Is there anything these ppl wont do? So now they validate the Quran to support their nonsense eschatology. Amazing.

I just watched Joel Richardson's "Understanding the Times" session 1 called "The Gospel of the Kingdom". Basically , he states that the Gospel is Premillennialism. I kept waiting to hear the Gospel, but the only mention of the cross was a passing statement that the cross is "a part of it". He was also very confused on his definitions of Amillennialism, which he says is a dualistic eschatology which seeks to prepare people for heaven and not a New Earth. He then states that Preterism is a subset of Amillennialism...finally, he says that only Premillennialists embrace a Biblical Worldview. Although not stated, it was certainly implied that only Premillennialist believe in a physical resurrection and only they preach the Biblical message of the "Gospel of the Kingdom" which is to be preached through our words and lives. This DVD was given to me by friends at church, I cannot wait until they ask what I thought!
