Isn't it better to boycott the 700 Club because Pat Robertson is a semi-Pelagian (at best) who claims that God speaks to him?

Thanks Kim,
Regarding Pat Robertson?
You are 100% correct!
This Baptist brother reveals he is more concerned with one's political stance than their theological stance.

Good reminder for us, Kim! Thanks!

As for A-Rod?
"Good Riddance" now is "carry on"?

:)

Actually as a member of Red Sox nation, I am pleased at Boras getting bypassed and also that we don't get A-Rod. Now we just have to keep Lowell.
As for the Baptist, don't blame all of us for what some wackos do under that label.

Hello PB,
Sorry I did not communicate more clearly.
Yes, there are clearly Reformed Baptist brothers/ sisters out there who in the heritage of Spurgeon, Carey etc. are fine ambassadors for the reconcilation that was purchased by Christ.
James White is another example, as is Al Mohler.

You were right to call me on that.

No offense taken or intended in either direction - I can only shake my head at a lot of the nonsense that goes on under a "Baptist" label.
And BTW we got Lowell. Good on Theo and the Trio.
