Who Said That?

question mark.jpgWho said that?

"I say quite deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its churches, has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in the world."

Place your guess in the comments section below.  No google searches (or cheating).  The goal is to guess "who said this?"

Tim Leedom, author of "The Book Your Church Doesn't Want You to Read"?

It's interesting to me that athiests and agnostics make this claim against Christianity and Religion in general. Yet, if you take a quick survey of history many more people have died under the anti-religous idealogies of Communism (i.e. Stalin and Mao).

In infamous humanist - it could be most of the above or one of the above. In the end what does it matter who said it - postmodernism doesn't care.

Definitely a secular humanist- probably well educated. Doesn't sound like Carl Sagan. Doesn't sound like an American.

I can't think of anyone, but probably not the author of the bumper sticker I saw last weekend, "God save me from your followers."
