Play Ball!

The Yankees played the Cubs, Friday night (April 3), in the New Yankee Stadium--first exhibition game in the new stadium.  Final score, 7-4 Yanks.

By all accounts, this place is awesome.  Here's a link to a short video tour.  Click here: Let us take you out to the ballparks | lohud.com | The Journal News

Hey Pastor Kim:

What are you going to do when you get to heaven?

There will be no Yankee baseball there. But, just think, heaven will be so great, that you won't even miss it!

I always thought baseball and the play involved in sports was a metaphor for heaven. It gives us a continued longing and taste of what heaven will be like- even as a spectator as we actively involve ourselves in the strategy and subtleties of the games. I am serious in a joking kind of way. I am speaking against all those who view sports as a waste of time.
