Yep ,and they filmed part of it here in my hometown Melbourne, Australia,where MacArthur was originally headquartered. Our greatest Prime Minister John Curtin, said that we now need to look to America because Britain-the Mother country for many Aussies- was unable to do anything. He even had to stand up to Churchill to get the 9th and 7th divisions back from North Africa,as Winston wanted to send them to Burma. Thank God for the USA then ,and for John Curtin-,World War one conscientious objector and reformed alcoholic and follower of Moral Re-armament-who helped him get through the 'horrors" of alcohol withdrawal
