Opening Day 2010 -- Play Ball!

If you are a baseball fan, you know what this day means.  Baseball is back!

Box scores, MLB channel, Gameday . . .

OK, so the Yanks blew a big lead in their season opener at Fenway.  I don't care.  Baseball is back!

Lets go Yankees!  The quest for number 28 begins.

BTW--C.C. Sabbathia is huge.  Dustin Pedroia is not!

Red Sox Nation is giddy this morning. We have no sense of perspective here, but you all knew that.

Growing up in a Detroit suburb and a lifelong Tiger fan, it is unthinkable to see Granderson in a Yankee uniform.

And it is a beautiful day in Chicago (mid 70's without a cloud in the sky)- I am tempted to leave work and go out to Cellular field. Buerle is going against the Indians. The White Sox may be a surprise team this year. They got some speed on the bases this year and the starting rotation is among the top 5 in the majors. I picked the Rays last year and if they can stay healthy they could give the Yanks and Red Sox a go at it out east. Baseball is back, it is a wonderful time of the year.

Sabbathia is huge only in the physical sense, Pastor Kim. The guy needs to lose some serious pounds.

This is the year for the Cardinals to win it all. Pujols, Holiday and company will destroy all comers.

It will be a repeat of the 2001 series; the Diamondbacks versus the Yanks!

Lloyd,
Get real. You've been listening to Sutton too much--already!

Well the Sox won the opener but the Yanks took the series 2-1. Since the opener counts double we're even. Everyone feel better now?
