This Week at Christ Reformed Church -- Wednesday Night Bible Study Is Back!

Sunday Morning (9/18):  We are currently going through the Book of Hebrews.  On Sunday, Lord willing, we'll be discussing Christ's once for all sacrifice for sin in Hebrews 9:11-28.

Sunday Afternoon:  We are discussing Lord's Day 22 of our catechism and Q & A 57-58 which deal with the resurrection of the body.  Our afternoon service begins @ 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday Night Bible Study is Back:  Bible study resumes on September 14th @ 7:00 p.m.  This year we'll be discussing the Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord's Supper).  Next week (Wednesday the 21st) Lane Chaplin will be taping a special session of his Youtube series "Rightly Divided" devoted to Christ's three-fold office of prophet, priest, and king.  For more information, Click Here

The Academy Is Back!  Our Academy continues this coming Friday night, September 16 @ 7:30 p.m., as we begin working our way through the the first chapter of Mike Horton's theology text, The Christian Faith.

Also Ken Samples will be beginning an eight-week series on his new book, "CLEAR Pointers to God:  The Biblical God as the Best Explanation for the Meaningful Realities of Life."  Ken's class will meet conurrently with mine on September 30, October 7, 14, 21 November 4, 18, and December 2.  Ken's book will be released by Baker Books in the spring-summer of 2012.
