Pastor Kim,

Thank you so much for working as hard as you do to mine the riches of God's Word for our benefit.

This sermon is a stunning example of how relevant Reformed theology is.

Your point that we "are" the Corinthian church, scares me mostly because the rampant worldliness we live in is higher due to our "plugged in" lifestyles.
Yet I am deeply comforted and encouraged because we are not living anything new that didn't go before. Jesus has not reduced his power to help and protect his people since 1 AD.

The counter attack is by something strangely different than what the world thinks: preaching the Word of Christ.

Bottom line: we live in a thoroughly pagan society (not Christian America) and the preached Word of Christ is our only hope in salvation from God's wrath and success in repenting from habitual sin.
