...or some New Perspective character. Or maybe that's the same thing? Anyway what a confusion of Law and Gospel!

That's not at all characteristic of the so called "new perspective on Paul"... at least not any that I'm familiar with... i.e. Dunn, Wright...

I googled the answer so I'll not "guess" who said that.

Am I reading that right? Having paid the price, Christ can save us all, right after we pay the price? I hate to insult anyone by guessing...

My first thought was the Catechism of the Catholic Church, but I doubt they would use the term "ordinances" instead of sacraments.

So I think it is something out of the LDS.

Not sure why, but the first thing I thought was "Mormon". Something about the way it's phrased.

Sounds like the Pastor from the Foursquare Church I left over a year ago... he is a converted Jew but as time goes on it's sounded more like he's a Pharisee.

The Mormons sound plausible, but just to be a little different: the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society?

Sounds like something I heard my Wesleyan theology professor say, "being a Christian is all about belevin' and obeyin'".

I could have lived with it if they had just inserted the word "His" between the words "by" and "obedience".

Does sound like something a mormon would say and since Glenn beck is popular I will go with him.
