New URC Plant in Missoula, MT

Live in Missoula?  Know anyone who does?

There is a new Bible study meeting there with the intention of forming a URCNA congregation.  Jared Beaird is the church planter.  The potential church plant is under the oversight of the Belgrade URC.  Jared is a recent WSC graduate and a good guy.

I am writing as a representative of the Belgrade Consistory, for the purpose of providing clarification, regarding the so called church plant in Missoula. At this point, the Belgrade consistory has given Jerod Beard, a seminary student, permission to do spade work in Missoulla in an attempt to identify individuals and families who might be interested in a URC church plant, as well as reformed families who are willing to commit to such a work. But I must point out that it is premature to say that the Belgrade consistory has given its consent to plant a church in Missoula at this point in time. Currently, several individuals and maybe even a family have expressed interest in a reformed church plant, but at this point in time we do not yet have any core reformed families who have committed themselves to a URC church plant.
