1) He's a lefty. (submitted without comment) 2) He's a White Sox fan; no wonder he can't throw. 3) Most girls could throw better and more accurately than that.
Well, he's not the antichrist (see a posting from a few days ago).... and he isn't a very good president (see the last year and half), now we find he can't pitch..... but who knows, if the keeps it up he will find something he is good at. (I'd say bowling.... but that pitch was pretty bad, I don't know what he might do with a bowling ball).
Obama gives White Sox fans a bad name- plus he is a product of corrupt Chicago thug type politics. He is a real piece of work. Regardless, I do not think McCain would have been much better from the "right" side. They are both part of the political establishment that needs to be ousted. The political scene needs some new blood.
Kevin: The White Sox looked pretty good yesterday. It was actually fun to watch the game. This is kinda like how the season started when the White Sox went all the way. They are back to speed, good defense and excellent starting pitching. They may turn out to be a force that has to be reckoned with in the American league.
I have found that I have to make a huge apologetical defense of why I am a White Sox fan, both to outsiders and to natives of the Chicago area. If I do not, it prejudices people's opinion of me. My father got to know Bill Veck fairly well (they both used to eat lunch at the Como Inn in the downtown Chicago area on a regular basis). He was the owner of the White Sox in the 60's and 70's and so we got season tickets when I was a kid. That is how I became partial to the White Sox. I grew up watching Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Billy Williams and Fergie Jenkins too so I am not a Cub hater. The Cubs always disappoint. At least the White Sox have actually won something.
Wrigley field is a much better baseball game experience (I live about 2 miles from the field) but being partial to the White Sox I love going to Cellular too. It is an easy Red line trip to both ball parks from where I live- Chicago is a great city from the start of baseball season on through October.
My wife didn't think there was much difference between his pitch and one thrown by Bush a few years back-- both ended up way high. I dunno-- I get the feeling the current Prez would have been one of the kids picked last in sandlot games. Does it matter? Not really. Is it funny to watch? You betcha!
Why give people a reason to get angry by putting on a White Sox hat?
I heard a bit of the interview after the pitch in which the President said that he was a White Sox fan, but he was unable to mention who is favorite player was; it seemed as if he didn't know any White Sox players. It made him seem so fake.

Ability to pitch a baseball isn't really relevant to being President, but that was rather poor. Not that I could do better.
Rather a lot of boos in that crowd and Obama seems to laugh at them, definitely shrugs them off.
Baseball sucks!
