Who Said That?

"You may make some mistakes-but that doesn't make you a sinner.  You've got the very nature of God on the inside of you."

This is an easy one!  Please leave your guess in the comments section below.  No google searches or cheating.  Answer to follow next week.

Some time ago, Joyce Meyer declared she wasn't a sinner, but it doesn't sound strident enough for her. It does sound Osteenish, more soft and gentle.

I'll guess Robert Schuller, but it could easily have been said by any of the "word-faith" types as well (especially Osteen).

I think it reeks of Kenny Copeland and his we are little gods spiel.

Yep, does sound like the Word Faith patter. And (in an Easter sermon I heard once (Issues, Etc., I think, played it)) of Schuller's I picked up eerie echos of Word Faith talk.

Joyce Meyer would be my guess.

Mistakes? As in, you added 326 to 719 and got 1035??

Definitely Osteen. It fits his speech pattern too well to be anyone else.

sounds like ken copeland, although many teachers in the word of faith movement teach the little gods heresy. cats rule.

The same guy who said, "If Jesus were here today, he wouldn't be riding around on a donkey. He'd be taking a plane, he'd be using the media."

Hey, weren't horses and chariot's the "planes" of Jesus' day?

Gotta be Robert Schuller (the way he read Dr. Horton the riot act about calling people sinners it makes him a sure thing).
