Great article, great candidate. I confess to being consumed with envy - look at the current MA special election for Senate and the likely outcome and you'll understand.

As someone who has been on the inside of the political sphere and held leadership positions within the Republican Party, I recommend the people of God stay as far away from politics as possible (especially D.C. politics). It's a den of vipers --- it doesn't matter which party someone is in --- and overflowing with iniquity. It emboldens the unbelievers in their evil, and puts tremendous spiritual strain and temptation on believers. Our time is so much better spent evangelizing the lost, teaching the Word, loving the Church, and raising godly families.
