Friday Feature -- Waffle House

Thankfully, we don't have Waffle House in So Cal.  But I've been in one on several occasions.  Many customers were smoking.  Once I found partially removed lip-stick on my coffee cup, and on another stop there were remnants of a petrified fried egg stuck to my plate.  Yet the food wasn't bad . . .  Hard to ruin breakfast.

I've been in a few Waffle House places in my time. Never my first choice, but I never had an experience quite as bad as yours. I'll stay with IHOP or Cracker Barrel for breakfast

I took Judy and the kids to one in Phoenix to show them the southern glory I'd experienced in Ft. Smith. As we ate a woman came from behind the counter and started mopping around our feet. "Very cosmopolitan," as the Doc would say.
