Pitchers and Catchers!
After a long, way too dry, and warm winter (at least here in OC), pitchers and catchers report today!
Baseball fans everywhere rejoice! Games will start soon, I'll have to update my Gameday app (makes owning a smartphone worthwhile), once again there will be box scores, and MLB Tonight will be live! Can't wait.
The Yanks will sure be different this year. Two-thirds of the 25 man roster is new--a huge factor and not necessarily a good thing. A-Rod will be gone (Yankees fans are thrilled). Mo is gone (I will really miss him). And Derek Jeter will be hangin' em up at season's end (who will be the next face of the franchise?).
In any case, baseball is back!
Predictions (Leave yours in the comments section below):
AL East: Tampa in a squeaker (with Boston or the Yankees winning the wild card)
Al Central: Detroit (pitching, pitching, and more pitching)
AL West: Texas
NL East: Atlanta (Nats winning the wild card)
NL Central: The Cards (who will win the World Series)
NL West: The Dodgers (pitching, hitting, and more pitching)

How did such a great guy and teacher like you ever become a Yankee fan, especially living out in California? I live in Central PA and am a long time Phillie fan. By the way, I just finished your book on A Case for Amillennialism. It was very helpful and I used some of your thoughts in an adult Sunday school class I was teaching on the two advents of our Lord, the last judgment, and the new heaven and the new earth. I attend a small rural Presbyterian church and we just were dismissed from the PC(USA) and are now associated with the new ECO reformed Presbyterian denomination that has just been formed. I really enjoy the White Horse Inn and so many of the materials I can access. I am also a partner with the ministry. I have also been greatly blessed recently by Pastor Tullian's ministry. My pastor is so open and responsive to all the materials I share with him from these ministries. We are definitely in a period of much grace. Thanks again for your writing and thoughts. Always in His grace, Drake Owen
I think the answer to your question about Kim is...original sin. KIDDING KR!
