And those are British Army chaplins who want to go armed. The Brits have been touched in the head on the subject of personal arms for a few decades now.

This part does disturb me, though: "some Royal Navy Commando chaplains want to be allowed to carry a side-arm, stating that as a last resort they would rather take their own life than fall into the hands of the Taliban."

The most horrifying story was the one about sterilization for saving the planet. One could neatly use the same arguments to justify (mandate?) suicide.
