The Annunciation to the Shepherds

Interesting. You're the first person I've ever seen that referred to this particular event as the annunciation. I've traditionally assigned that term to the announcement to Mary that she would be the Mother of God.

Gee. No need to change the post title on my behalf. ;-)

Notice how they are encouraged and bold to get on over there after hearing the declaration of God's good news?

Notice after the Shepherds then saw, they themselves then went and declared the good news.

Why is it the church is so slow to proclaim the good news?
Perhaps we are not listening, hearing, seeing the good news God has already revealed to us?
