Buy This Book -- New from Michael Horton

covenantsalvation.jpgIf you are at all interested in Reformed theology, the debate over the New Perspectives on Paul and related issues, then you must buy this book!  It is that simple!

I had a chance to read a couple of the chapters a while back before Michael sent them off to the publisher.  Michael's interaction with and evaluation of Drs. Wright, Dunn and Sanders is positively brilliant.

This is part three of Michael's projected four volume prolegomena.  While everything Michael writes is important to the Reformed churches, this one is especially timely.  It is must reading.

Can you read this as a stand-alone book, or are the other 2 required reading first?

I had this ordered from Amazon months ago. They changed my shipping time and last week to me I wouldn't get the book until Oct.

Monergism Books has it in stock and I just ordered it!

Tell Dr. Horton that he's killing my wallet.

Yeah, Rick, what's up with this Horton guy? Sounds like he's bought into a form of prosperity gospel, trying nto wheedle as much money from as he can. I am ashamed to say it's working.

Zrim,
You just made me picture Horton driving a Mercedes, dressed in Armani with a Rolex on his wrist.

He keeps writing books, I keep buying them. That's just the way it's gonna be. I just wish the WJK published books were cheaper. Nice price at the WSCAL bookstore linked above.

David, the first book, "Covenant and Eschatology" really lays the ground work for what follows. But it's very dense - it took me a long time to get through. But I'm a bit of a lightweight.

We can get this book for $27.99 no shipping charges unless we need to ship it to you. Yes WJK is pricey, but hay Horton's books are worth it.

Samples book $14.39. Comming out later this month.

Hay the House of Bibles well give students 20% discount off the retail price of all new books and Bibles. We also have a selection of used books as well.

I'm half-way through the second book in the trilogy, "Lord and Servant" it's great. I noticed they were selling "Covenant and Salvation" in Scotland, but I would have to pay in pounds so I ordered it on line instead.
