This Week's White Horse Inn

The Experience Economy

There is a new trend in the business world. Offer your customers rich experiences, and they'll keep coming back. But is this a good model for churches to adopt? On this edition of the White Horse Inn Michael Horton talks with business writer James Gilmore about his books, The Experience Economy, and Authenticity.

You can invite them to church, and give them the rich experiences of God's Word being proclaimed in the law and the Gospel.

As Lutherans, if they are Christians, and they are in agreement with all (not some) matters of doctrine (as defined in the Book of Concord) and they become members, then they can enjoy the rich experiences of being forgiven of their sins in the sacraments as well.

Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven!
