Its no surprise that our socialist/communist neighbor to the south, Hugo Chavez, would buy into the Jewish conspiracy theory nonsense.  After all, Ahmadinejad is his best buddy these days.  If socialists like Chavez can't control it, tax it into oblivion, or nationalize it, then they blame someone else for their failure.

I did think the guess by someone of "Martin Luther" was interesting.

That might be worth a blog entry by Kim to utilize quotes by Luther, and perhaps Rod's commentary on just what was the historical situation to which Luther was responding, and how in fact he did conduct himself regarding the Jews.
