Who Said That?
Who said that?
"You know what happens? [in Revelation] Chapter 20, the Lord sets up His Kingdom. That's right. Look at verse 4, `I saw thrones,' what are they for? Look at the end of verse 4, they're for the saints who lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. You know what happens at the end of the thousand years? Verse 7, Satan is loosed a little while, he's been bound the whole time. He's loosed a little while. He goes out into the world and you know that during the Kingdom there will be some people who went in in physical bodies, they'll have kids, they'll repopulate the earth, they'll be a population all over the earth, some of those won't even believe in Jesus Christ though He's been reigning in the city of Jerusalem for a thousand years."
You know the drill! Leave your guesses in the comments section below! No google searches please.
OK, I couldn't resist the temptation to post a MacArthur quote. The quote indicates how an otherwise careful biblical interpreter ends up with people having babies and revolting against Christ -- after the second coming and the end of the age (cf. Luke 20:34-36)! Dispensationalism made him do it! The quote is from Dr. MacArthur's "Jet Tour Through Revelation" (audio 1290)

It's actually "Rexella"...I watch Jackie V every chance I get. I really enjoyed last nights discussion of how sheba means saudi arabia and that we (the US) would ally with them against mog and magog, which, by the way, just happen to be two existing cities in russia...
Where in Rev. 20 is there ANYTHING about believers getting married and having children?
But just for fun assume that the premil explanation is correct (i.e., that the "first resurrection" is the physical resurrection of believers). Think about it. Question: What's the ONLY THING that's said about such believers in Rev. 20 (other than that they will reign with Christ after they've been raised)? Answer: That they all "come to life" first! So if they all come to life (which is what the text actually says), and if this coming to life is a physical resurrection (which is what premils wrongly assume), then these believers will all be in resurrected (i.e., glorified) bodies ... and thus THEY WILL NOT BE GETTING MARRIED AND HAVING CHILDREN!!!
Not only does Rev. 20 say NOTHING about believers getting married and having children (and not only does it say NOTHING about the Jews, their land, etc.), it also says NOTHING about the existence of any believers who even could get married and have children! In fact, when one examines all the details, it teaches just the opposite.
It really rules out the premil view.
