Pastor Kim made a great statement in a class that I took at CRC. It is a neat way to summarize the book of James. Keep it in mind when reading the book of James, and also in defending it to a Roman Catholic or an Arminian. "James seeks to justify man before man. James does not seek to justify man before God. If James seeks to justify man before God, we would have a serious contradiction with the Apostle Paul in Romans 4."
