This Week at Christ Reformed Church (November 4-10)

Sunday Morning (11/10/13):  In our series on John's Gospel, we have come to the Upper Room Discourse of John 13-17.  This morning, we will be discussing the "new commandment" given by Jesus to his disciples in John 13:21-38.

Sunday Afternoon:  We are working our way through the "rejection of errors" section of the First Head of Doctrine of the Canons of Dort.  Can God's election be lost?  Our catechism service begins @ 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday Night Bible Study (11/06/13):  We are continuing our series, "Studies in the Book of Revelation."  We are discussing the third cycle of visions in Revelation (Rev. 8:2-11:19), and we are continuing to discuss Rev. 8:2-13.  Bible study begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Friday Night Academy (11/08/13):  I will be returning to my series (for one week) "In the Land of Nod" (the Reformed doctrine of the two kingdoms).  My topic for this week is "Israel:  The Kingdom of God on Earth."  The lecture begins at 7:30.  Note:  Ken Samples resumes his series on Islam next week (11/15).
