This Week at Christ Reformed Church (February 4-10)

Sunday Morning (02/10/13): We are in chapter 5 of John's Gospel, and we will be addressing our Lord's comments about Moses foretelling of Jesus' messianic ministry (John 5:30-47).
Sunday Afternoon: I will be leading our afternoon catechism service which begins @ 1:15 p.m. We will spend several weeks going through our liturgical forms, starting with the form for the baptism of infants.
Our Annual Congregational Meeting 9:00 a.m. (2/10/13): We will approve our annual budget and elect new officers (elders and deacons). The consistory requests that all church members be in attendance. Visitors are invited.
Wednesday Night Bible Study 7:00 p.m. (1/30/13): We are studying those New Testament passages in which the Lord's Supper is discussed--this week we continue to work our way through 1 Corinthians 11.
The Academy 7:30 p.m. (2/1/13): We are discussing Michael's Horton's theology text The Christian Faith. We are currently in chapter 4, discussing the inspiration and authority of Scripture.
