This Week at Christ Reformed Church (August 26-September 1)

Sunday Morning (09/01/13):  This coming Lord's Day we continue to work through John 11, and we come to Jesus' declaration, "I am the resurrection and the life."  My text this Sunday is John 11:17-27.

Sunday Afternoon:  I will be conducting our afternoon service, which begins @ 1:15 p.m.  We return to our series on the Canons of Dort, and we'll be talking about God leaving some in their sins--the doctrine of reprobation.

Wednesday Night Bible Study returns next week (9/04/13):  We are resuming our series, "Studies in the Book of Revelation."  We'll do some review, and then take up where we left off last time with verse 1 of chapter 4.

The Academy returns on Friday, September 13:  Rev. Compton will present "Touring Old Testament Jerusalem," a lecture dealing with the history and archaeology of ancient Jerusalem.  Watch for my upcoming series "In the Land of Nod" (on the two kingdoms), and for a series "Responding to Islam," by Ken Samples.
