This Week at Christ Reformed Church (February 3-9)

Sunday Morning (February 9, 2014):  We have come to Jesus' high-priestly prayer (as we continue our series on the Gospel of John).  We will be covering vv. 1-5 of John 17, when Jesus prays for his glorification.

Note:  Our annual congregational meeting will be held Sunday, February 9 @ 9:00 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall.  The consistory is requesting that all members be in attendance.

Note:  Our worship services will be conducted in the Fellowship Hall for several weeks while the sanctuary undergoes a major renovation.

Sunday Afternoon:  I am continuing my series on the Canons of Dort.  We are covering the second head of doctrine (article 9) dealing with the fulfillment of God's decree to save.  The catechism service begins @ 1:15 p.m. 

Wednesday Night Bible Study (February 5, 2014):  In our "Studies in the Book of Revelation," we taking up Rev. 13.  Bible study begins at 7:30 p.m.

Friday Night Academy (February 7, 2014):  We will return to our study of Michael Horton's theology text, The Christian Faith, and we'll continue in part two, chapter six, (230 ff.) with the doctrines of aseity and immutability.
