Our alumni include a US Senator (from Nebraska) and his wife, the current pastor of the "other" Christ Reformed Church in Washington, DC. (with his then future wife in the front row) and the producer of the White Horse Inn.  The picture was taken in Mike Horton's backyard in Anaheim in 1995 after one of our first services.

As a WHI fan I just visited Anaheim on business, and would have taken a run around Christ Reformed if my aging legs would have carried me! But the limits of my range from the convention center was Angel Stadium. Your excellent "OC / Burned Over" series from 2013 was my frame of reference on my first visit to Anaheim as I saw Christ Cathedral from a few blocks away on my run through the neighborhoods.

I digress.. congratulations on your 20 year anniversary!

I'm afraid I wasn't there for the first service, but I was at Mike's house to see Shane's "Tootin' Tilton" video in 1992 or so. After that I knew I was not talking with average evangelical folks.
