So funny, and sadly because it's true...

The headmaster at my kids' school tells a story about accidentally hiring an aide like this, after they had to have an uncomfortable discussion about job performance, the aide's mother called the headmaster to complain. Suffice to say, that working relationship didn't work out.

It is unfair of parents to mollycoddle their boys into adulthood and then complain those adult-boys still live in the basement and have no drive to do anything but play video games.

Perhaps the umpa lumpas sang it best.

"Who do you blame when your kid is a brat--
Pampered and spoiled like a Siamese cat?
Blaming the kids is a lie and a shame.
You know exactly who's to blame--
The mother and the father!"
