Bernie Sanders Berates Nominee for White House Budget Office on the Grounds of His Christian Convictions

Scary stuff. 

Apparently, Bernie missed the fact that the U.S. Constitution forbides any religious test for holding public office (h.t. Justin Taylor).

The irony is that the atheist does not differentiate between a man's standing coram hominibus and coram deo. Sanders has a view more akin to a theocracy than a republic-- one can be disqualified from office for holding "wrong views" about God. Weird, innit?
