This Week at Christ Reformed Church (December 30, 2019-January 5, 2020)

Sunday Morning, January 5, 2020:  We return to our series on Paul's letters to Timothy and Titus.  Our text this coming Lord's Day will be 2 Timothy 3:10-17, and our focus will be upon Paul's doctrine of the "God-breathed" nature of Scripture.  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.   

Afternoon Service:  In our study of the Heidelberg Catechism, we are working our way through Lord's Day 15 (Q & A 37-39).  We will consider the sufferings of Christ under Pontius Pilate.  Our afternoon service begins @ 1:15 p.m.

This Week at Christ Reformed Church (December 16-22)

Sunday Morning, December 22:  On the Sunday before Christmas, we will consider the kingdom which is realized in the birth of Jesus Christ.  Our texts are Luke 22:24-30 and Daniel 7:9-18.  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.   

Afternoon Service:  In our study of the Heidelberg Catechism, we have come to Lord's Day 15 (Q & A 37-39).  We will consider the sufferings of Christ for us and for our salvation.  Our afternoon service begins @ 1:15 p.m.

This Week at Christ Reformed Church (December 9-15)

Sunday Morning, December 15:  As we move into Advent, we will consider Jesus coming as the humble servant foretold by Isaiah.  Our text will be Philippians 2:1-11.  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.   

Afternoon Service:  We continue our discussion of Lord's Day 14 of the Heidelberg Catechism, (question 36).  We will consider Jesus as the only mediator between God and humanity.  Our afternoon service begins at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday Night Bible Study, December 11 @ 7:30 p.m.  We continue with our series "The Future" and we tackle the signs of the end which foretell of the return of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Morning, December 8:  We will take up Paul's warning to Timothy about the godlessness of the "last days."  Our text will be 2 Timothy 3:1-9.  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.   

Afternoon Service:  We will take up Lord's Day 14 of the Heidelberg Catechism, (questions 35-36), and we will discuss the virginal conception of Christ.  Our afternoon service begins at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday Night Bible Study, December 4 @ 7:30 p.m.  We continue with our series "The Future" and will be wrapping up our discussion of the doctrine of Antichrist.
