This Week at Christ Reformed Church (October 7-13)

Sunday Morning, October 13:  As Paul wraps up his letter to Titus by addressing the benefits of Christ's incarnation--"he saved us" (Titus 3:1-15).  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.

Afternoon Service:  We will take up Lord's Day 11 (Q 29-30) of the Heidelberg Catechism.  We'll address why the Son of God is called "Savior."  Our afternoon service begins at 1:15 p.m.

New Members Class @ 9:00 a.m.  Our third class is an introduction to Reformed Church government.

Wednesday Night Bible Study, October 9 @ 7:30 p.m.  We continue with our series entitled, "The Future--What Remains to be Fulfilled in Biblical Prophecy?"  The central future expectation in the New Testament is the bodily return of Jesus Christ.

Friday Night Academy, October 11 @ 7:30 p.mWe are working our way through Michael Horton's theology text, "The Christian Faith."  We are on page 431.

This Week at Christ Reformed Church (September 30-October 6)

Sunday Morning, October 6:  Paul directs Titus to consider God's triumph over unbelief and paganism on the day of Christ's return.  Our text for this coming Lord's Day is Titus 2:11-15.   Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.

Afternoon Service:  We'll continue our discussion of Lord's Day 10 of the Heidelberg Catechism (Q & A 27-28).  We will focus upon the comfort derived from the doctrine of God's providence.  Our afternoon service begins at 1:15 p.m.

New Members Class @ 9:00 a.m.  Our second class is an overview of the history of the Reformed Churches.

Wednesday Night Bible Study, October 2 @ 7:30 p.m.  We continue with our series entitled, "The Future--What Remains to be Fulfilled in Biblical Prophecy?"  We will be discussing the two age model.

Friday Night Academy, October 4 @ 7:30 p.mWe'll return to our study of Michael Horton's theology text, "The Christian Faith."  We are on page 426.

This Week at Christ Reformed Church (September 23-30)

Sunday Morning, September 29:  The conflict between Christian convictions and pagan cultural norms is nothing new.  Paul raises and addresses this conflict in chapter 2:1-10 of his letter to Titus.  Many of these issues remain with us today.  Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.

Afternoon Service:  We'll continue our discussion of Lord's Day 10 of the Heidelberg Catechism (Q & A 27-28).  What is the practical application of the doctrine of providence.  Our afternoon service begins at 1:15 p.m.

New Members Class @ 9:00 a.m.  Our first class is an introduction to the history and ethos of Christ Reformed Church.

Wednesday Night Bible Study, September 25 @ 7:30 p.m.  We continue our new series entitled, "The Future--What Remains to be Fulfilled in Biblical Prophecy?"

Friday Night Academy, September 27@ 7:30 p.mWe'll return to our study of Michael Horton's theology text, "The Christian Faith."  We pick up where we left off (page 423), with a discussion of original sin.
