It Was Just a Matter of Time!

This exercise in creative exegesis will come as no surprise to those of you who keep up with Bible prophecy punditry!  All you need is a verse or two, a Strong's concordance, and presto . . . Barack Obama is the Antichrist!  You'll just love the disclaimer at the end! (h.t. Terry)

This is a classic example of one of the ways in which people seek to cope with political and economic uncertainty--they find an eschatological bogeyman.  "Pin the tail on the Antichrist" is nothing new, nor unique to modern America.

If you ask me I'd say it was Hilary or even Gov. Arnold. Just kidding of course. All of this nonsense of trying to pick the antichrist is ridiculous. Just like when Dispensationalism tries to predict when the Lord well return. It well happen when God chose it to happen not a moment before.

I spoke with a full preterist and he tried to say that in the first resurrection already happened in Matthew 27:52-53 when the tombs were opened and many saint arose and went into the holy city. According to most commentaries that is a for-shadow of the resurrection to come not the first resurrection as the full preterist declare.

Pastor Kim, Isn't man of sin your autobiography? You know it would be helpful if you wrote a book on the antichrist.
