Tonight's Academy Cancelled

Hear about the big tanker fire on the 91 Fwy? 

Its between Ken Samples' house and Christ Reformed!

Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the freeway will be shut down for hours (maybe for a day or more).

So, tonight's Academy has been cancelled.

As a Haz-Mat Chemist in Chicago I responded to a tanker fire after it had been put out so that we could help with the clean up. What a mess! I picked up a piece of aluminum off the road that had melted with the heat, but yet in the tanks themselves there was still unburned fuel that we had to pump out and dispose of.
