Friday Feature -- AC/DC, Bagpipes, and a Mohawk

This is from Australian TV. In a strange way, it almost works.
Friday Feature -- I'd Love to See Their Reunion Tour

But there won't be a Sonseed reunion tour because none of the folks in this video would now admit to being in this video. This is what happens when you mix CCM, American religion, and 80's music--the worst of all three.
Notice too, this video has nearly eight million YouTube views. There are a slew of parody videos as well. Watching Sonseed is like slowing down when passing a serious car accident. You just can't help yourself.
Even worse, can you go all day without catching yourself humming the tune?
Friday Feature -- My Favorite TV Show as a Kid

As a kid, I loved the TV series Combat. Vic Morrow's brooding character Sgt. Saunders . . . Rick Jason's cool and collected Lt. Hanley. . . And then there was Kirby and his BAR.
Friday Feature -- It's Almost Christmas, So It's Time for Miss Velma!

There are not words. And yes, she is a crack shot!
This is but a short snippet of an hour long Christmas special "Christmas in America" produced by the late O.L. Jaggers and his wife, "Miss Velma" (a sort of proto Word-Faith Pentecostal sect).
"Christmas in America" ran for a number of years Christmas night on a small local network in So Cal, and became a sort of cult classic. If you wish to see the whole thing, including the infamous Christmas turtle, the golden eagle mini bus, and Miss Velma as the Christmas angel, you can watch it here: Christmas in America. She even has her own Miss Velma's Facebook Fan Page
Friday Feature -- When Your Life Flashes Before You

This one is a bit longer than I usually post, but is a remarkable short film based on an Ambrose Bierce's short story. Well worth watching.
Friday Feature -- One Handed!

I don't know if this is the greatest catch I've ever seen, but it is up there!
Friday Feature -- Waffle House

Thankfully, we don't have Waffle House in So Cal. But I've been in one on several occasions. Many customers were smoking. Once I found partially removed lip-stick on my coffee cup, and on another stop there were remnants of a petrified fried egg stuck to my plate. Yet the food wasn't bad . . . Hard to ruin breakfast.
Friday Feature -- "I'm Shocked, Shocked!"

A great moment from a great movie. I'm not a Bogart fan, but Claude Rains and Peter Lorre were certainly among the most memorable characters in many a classic film.
